It's like a wiener dog parade around Green Lake! Dachshund owners and fans meet on the south side of the lake near the golf course and walk the loop together, counter-clockwise. Gather to the left of the restrooms near the dock and big cement ramp. Free and open to all pups.

Halloween Pet Photos at Paddywack
Get your furry sidekicks dressed up in their spookiest attire and get ready for a fantastical day at Paddywack in Mill Creek! With the spine-tingling season in full swing, it's prime time to snap some magical Halloween moments in our Wiggly Pet Photo Booth! Pets will be photographed in front of our creepy carnival background. Price…$25 for the first pet, each additional pet is $10. What you get…Two digital web resolution images of each pet, delivered to you by email. Optional print packages will be available to purchase at a discount at the event. You can pick up your prints a week later at Paddywack. To keep the cost of these fun photo events low, I will be choosing the best two images of each pet and providing those to you in an email, within one week. Editing and putting together full photo galleries takes a lot of time, and then I would have to charge more. No appointment needed for this event. Cats and other critters welcome!

Brew Park is Minnesota's only turfed, indoor dog park & restaurant! Make sure to register your pet before you visit by providing some information, including up-to-date vaccine records. No dog? No problem! We welcome everyone! We also want to remind you that you must be 18+ to enter the park. Anyone under that age is welcome to hang out in the restaurant but will not be able to access the park. You can also support rescue animals by rounding up your check now through the end of the year! Can Do Canines Open House
Can Do Canines will host an open house on Saturday, November 7, from noon to 2 p.m., at its Can Do Canines campus. Potential clients, volunteers, or anyone who might be interested in supporting the organization is invited to attend to learn how an assistance dog changes the life of a person with a disability. Through a self-guided tour, attendees will be able to watch a trainer working with an assistance dog, talk with a dog host volunteer and staff members from the volunteer department, pose questions to client services coordinators, and meet graduate teams from five types that Can Do Canines trains dogs: hearing, mobility, seizure, diabetes, and childhood autism. There is no pre-registration for this event, though attendees will be asked to share some contact information when arriving. We'll do our best to accommodate late requests, but availability is not guaranteed.
