1. Pups & Pops in the Park
Greenwood Park, Seattle

Enjoy a simple celebration of good weather and our fave thing: dogs! Your social Spaniel is gonna ruv making new frens at Greenwood Park this Thursday. Leash pup and pop over for some popsicles and tons of pets from other pawrents. Plus, nothing says summer fun like doggo licking the popsicle drips off your hand—aww, so helpful.
2. Trivia Night
Dog Yard, Seattle
Thursday, July 7, 7:30–9 p.m.; registration required
Rover’s been whispering trivia questions while you sleep to prepare you for this day. Round up a group of 4 hoomans and ur brainiac good boy for trivia night at Dog Yard. 90 minutes of trivia provides the pawfect amount of time for pup to frolic with fellow floofs. You can buy food and bevs for brain fuel or a treat for your tiny trivia coach. Before heading to Dog Yard, don’t furget to make pup a pet profile. Trivia’s free for humans, but pup has to use his allowance to get in.
3. Kirkland Uncorked

Your merlot mutt is invited to Kirkland Uncorked, a 3-day wine tasting festival raising funds for the Homeward Pet Adoption Center. Sample sips of 75+ types of wine from across Washington while pup gets pets from every passerby. Enjoy the beer and cocktail garden if wine ain’t your bevvie of choice.
Stroll through the food and art market to find that lil’ somethin’ pup can’t live without, like more treats. Check out their ticket options, from $35 general admission with 10 tastings and a commemorative glass to the Fred Meyer VIP ticket, which includes an additional 4 tastings for the same price when you purchase at a participating Fred Meyer.
4. BBQ Potluck

A BBQ on the lake? Now, that’s the definition of a summer Saturday. Lucky for you and the fluff, the grill is going and the friendships are growing at Magnuson Park. A short distance from Fido’s fave Magnuson Off-Leash Area, folks are setting up for a day of food, fun, and pals. Bring along your volleyball skills and best cookout side dish to share. Look for the Meetup flag, or just follow your snoot to the burgers and hot dogs.

Dog Gone Seattle
- The remedy for the pawfect day is a rescue dog and a drink, duh! This Saturday, July 9, from 3:30–5:30 p.m., head to Cairn Brewing for Drink a Draft with a Rescue Dog, sponsored by Airbnb and Dog Gone Seattle. This event puts dog lovers like you in a room with amazing alumni rescue pups, volunteer pups, and current foster pups. Your ticket includes your first drink. Note: Resident pups aren’t invited since the adoptable dogs need room to shine. Dog Gone doesn’t allow same-day adoptions, but you can schedule to meet available puppos on their website.
