Great news for dogs tired of being DD: Uber’s bringing its new Uber Pet program to Chicago beginning Feb. 11. This means you won’t have to guess whether or not your Uber driver will be cool with your waggy sidekick(s) – these drivers opt in so you only get the pro-pup furiety. It’ll cost an extra $3 to $5 per trip. As always, service dogs will be allowed to ride at no extra cost.
Uber Pet launched on Oct. 16, 2019, in Austin, Denver, Nashville, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Tampa Bay and a surge in baroo-ery hopping with furry besties ensued. Sniff out dog-friendly taprooms in Chicago, Denver, and the Twin Cities to plan your next adventure.
