The weekend is almost here, motherpuppers! If you’re looking to get out with your pooch, here are a few wag-worthy happenings to sniff out:

Friday, September 14 from 5-9pm: Save-A-Bull Summer Brewery Tour. Kick off the weekend by joining Save-A-Bull Rescue at the next stop on their summer Brewery Tour: Inbound BrewCo. $1 from every pint sold all day Friday (yes, all day!) will be donated, and Save-A-Bull will be on-site 5-9pm with raffle prizes, merch, and more.

Saturday, September 15 at 7:30am: Coco’s Heart Doggie Day Run/Walk. Leash up and lace up for this dog-friendly fundraiser to benefit Coco’s Heart Dog Rescue. Choose from the 10K, 5K, and/or Kiddie Dash, all starting and ending at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

Saturday, September 15 from 12:00-8pm & Sunday, September 16 from 12:00-5pm: Bark!Art Dog & Art Festival. Dog lovers and art lovers unite at this two-day family-friendly event in the Nokomis neighborhood of Minneapolis. Hosted by Off-Leash Area in collaboration with Canine Coach, the event boasts pup-centric vendors, local artisans, talent shows, food trucks, and a special production of Paws ‘n’ Effect.

What else is on your dog-friendly agenda? Doo tell! (And don’t forget to submit all of your pup-centric events to our calendar.) Happy adventuring, Sidewalk Doggers!

Next up: Share all of your pup’s adventures with #SidewalkDog for the chance to be featured. Then head to our Dog-Friendly Twin Cities online community for super local, pooch-centric chat with the some of the best people we know dog people.

And since you clearly love being out and about with your doggo, you NEED our Dog-Friendly Passes! These puppies score ya FREE beer or wine on local patios and inside taprooms. Get your paws on ‘em today. (They make grrr-eat gifts, too!)
