Spencer the Cattle Dog

Puppy dog eyes: check.

Sidewalk Dog: Well isn’t he a tall drink of water! Tell us about Spencer.

K9 4 KEEPS: Spencer is a sweet, affectionate puppy. This curious, active boy is always ready to greet you with a lick and a tail wag! He enjoys playing fetch, going on walks, playing with his foster sister, and, once he tuckers out, cuddling up for a snooze. He also loves hunting for small bits of “treasure” to play with around the house. We’ve caught him playing with anything from a hair tie, to a piece of string, to a plastic water bottle!

SWD: What an awesome, active pup! What is his special need?

K94K: Spencer is deaf, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying treats, playing with toys, hanging with his humans, and enjoying life.

SWD: Spencer sounds so friendly! How is he with kids and other dogs?

K94K: Spencer is great with other active dogs. He loves to play, chase, and run with his foster sister. He also does well around kids. He could play with his dog friends forever and adores all kinds of humans.

SWD: Man, he seems like the total package. What kind of home would be a perfect fit for him?

K94K: Spencer will need a home where he can learn and grow and play. He’s just a puppy and is still learning his manners, but he is very smart and a quick study. He’s never happier than when he’s on a walk, and seemingly never tires of it, so he’d also be great for someone looking for a fitness buddy.
