Ah, patio season. What’s better than sun and sips with the peeps you know and love? All that with PUPPIES on your lap, that’s what.
The Anti-Cruelty Society’s Dog Days of Summer fundraiser’s happening on July 22 at Formento’s and it’s gonna be a puppy breath fest. There’ll be adoptable mini-woofers, cocktails and cocktail demonstrations, a raffle, and more. Even more warm fuzzies: ticket sales benefit The Anti-Cruelty Society, Chicago’s oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare org, which has been looking out for pets for more than 120 years.
Woof to the wise: You have to leave your own dog at home fur this one. Call the dog sitter, assure your woofer he’s contributing to the grrreater good, and then take him out for free ice cream and a pup cake later.
