1. Yappy Hour at Gaylord Rockies

Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, Aurora
Sunday, September 11, 1–4 p.m.

Follow Fido to Gaylord Rockies Resort for Yappy Hour, a monthly cocktail party for canines and their companions. Haute hounds will enjoy lapping up libations and snacking on house-made dog biscuits while their hoomans relax with a glass of Bar Dog Wine or a Tito’s Vodka cocktail.

2. Farmers Market at Aspen Grove

Wednesday, September 14, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

This might be a weekend list, but your woofer would hang with you every single day if she could. Throw in a weekday outing to rock her world! This coming Wednesday, Aspen Grove will be bustlin’ with vendors from Metro Denver Farmers Markets. Browse fresh produce, honey, soaps, clothing, and more.

3. Dogtoberfest

River North Brewery, Denver
Saturday, September 10, 1 p.m.

Beer. Food. Dogs. Need we say more? Our frens at River North Brewery know Oktoberfest is way more fun with a furry sidekick. Join them this Saturday for their Festbier release, Fetch Photo Truck (signups required), dog merch for sale, adoptable dogs, food truck noms, and more.

4. Pups on the Patio

Woodie Fisher, Denver
Thursday, September 8, 4 p.m.; Reservations Encouraged

You know how floof is always super jealous of your food truck eats? Woodie Fisher is having a patio party, and it includes… wait for it… Denver’s first dog treat food truck, Bone Apétreat! Add in drinks for you, a photo booth, and free Tito’s dog toys and swag, and you’ve got a pawty! Secure your spot by making a rezzy, and take advantage of the free parking next door at Hilton Garden Inn Denver Union Station.

5. Wag N’ Romp

Cook Creek Pool, Lone Tree
Saturday, September 10, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.; Tickets Required

If you’ve found yourself at a pool this summer thinking, boy would my dog love it here—you’re in luck! The Cook Creek Pool in Lone Tree is allowing dogs in for a dip on one day only. Pupper can take a swim, wag for a treat, or try out the agility course. Don’t forget to visit the doggie wash on your way out and spoil your pup with a luscious bubble bath and free nail trim.

Foothills Animal Shelter

  • Foothills Animal Shelter in Golden is hosting a Pup Up Market on Saturday, September 10 featuring live music, food trucks, local beer, and adoptable animals. This is a great pupportunity to combine your love of social events with your desire to bring home a new furry fren! The fun goes from 10 a.m.–2p.m. and tickets are required.
