1. Girl Beer Screening

Urban Family Brewing, Seattle
Friday, November 18, 3:30 p.m.

We can always cheer for beer, but let’s not forget the people behind the beer. The always dog-friendly Urban Family Brewing in Ballard will be screening Girl Beer, a film all about women in beer throughout history and today. 

2. Wagsgiving & Wine Tasting

Pomum Cellars, Woodinville
Friday, November 18, 6:30-9:30 p.m.; tickets required

Wags and wine, what else can you ask for? Support the canine division of MEOW Cat Rescue with this special feast at Pomum Cellars. Your $25 ticket will get you samplers of 6 different Pomum Cellars wines, appetizers, a raffle, and most importantly, a cutest canine contest. 

3. Holiday Photos

Cairn Brewing, Kenmore
Saturday, November 19, 12-5 p.m.; tickets required

Thanksgiving isn’t even here yet but are you already looking forward to the next holiday? Then it’s time to bust out the tinsel and get your pup ready for holiday photos benefiting MustLuvBoxers Rescue. With a fun, holiday-themed photo set, you’ll be whisked away to a winter wonderland that’ll be perfect for this year’s holiday card.

4. Santa Paws at Olmsted Tree Farm

Olmsted Tree Farm, Poulsbo
Saturday, November 20, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Your dog may have been a little naughty this year, but he’s still on Santa Paws’ nice list. Meet the big man himself at Kitsap Humane Society’s annual Santa Paws portrait event! Your $20 donation gets you one family photo that’ll be emailed after the event.

Stand Up for Pits

  • Looking for a snuggly hippo to keep your bed warm this season? Also looking for some laughs? Then look no further than Stand Up for Pits! Swing by the Tacoma Comedy Club on Sunday, November 20 from 3-6 p.m. for their adoption event and donation drive (no tickets required). If you’re looking for some comedy and want to support a great cause at the same time, pick up tickets to their comedy show from 6-8 p.m.

Dog Gone Seattle

  • Nothing is more on brand for Seattle than beers and dogs, so lean into your inner Seattleite at Old Stove Brewing on Sunday, November 20 from 1-4 p.m. as they host an adoption event with Dog Gone Seattle. The Thanksgiving spirit is coming early, with plenty to drink and plenty of dogs! Don’t forget that Dog Gone Seattle does not do same day adoptions; learn more about their adoption process here
