Able Seedhouse & Brewery, Minneapolis (Northeast). Located in the heart of the Northeast Arts District, Able Seedhouse + Brewery is focused on locally grown seed, grain, malting and brewing.  It’s a perfect place to bring you furry best friend — dog friendly inside, too!

 


Alloy Brewing Co., Coon Rapids This destination taproom/microbrewery has over 16 awards under their belt in categories ranging from stouts, European lagers and even fruit beer. They constantly tweak old favorites and try out new recipes.

 


Bad Weather Brewing Co., St. Paul. Although Minnesotans will insist “there’s no such thing as bad weather,” St. Paul’s Bad Weather Brewing Company begs to differ. Here the ales are “untethered and unpredictable” — in other woofs, perfectly aligned with Minnesota’s fickle forecasts.

 


Bent Brewstillery, Roseville. Come for the dog-friendly patio, stay for the diverse offering of local bevs. With the availability of food trucks for peeps + water dishes and treats for pups, it’s no wonder one customer raved: “SO FUN + super dog friendly.” Dog friendly inside, too.

Lake Monster Brewing, St Paul. Founded by three MN natives with a passion for great beer, Lake Monster Brewing is dedicated to exploring the depths of beer flavor, making unique versions of classic beer styles. Their super spacious patio welcomes pups of all sizes.

 


OMNI Brewing Company, Maple Grove. In addition to unique craft brews, OMNI features a gorgeous patio perfect for dogs of all sizes. You and your pup will find plenty of shade and lots of water to go around, and their staff are major dog lovers. Dog friendly inside, too.

 


Sisyphus Brewing, Minneapolis. Not only are their craft beer offerings out of this world, but customers also rave about the dog-loving staff at Sisyphus. Slide into a seat at one of the picnic tables on their patio and enjoy a cold one or two. Dog friendly inside, too.

 


Sociable Cider Werks, Minneapolis (Northeast). Sociable brews fresh-pressed apples with fruits, grains, hops, and spices for innovative libations that are best when shared with a friend. In addition to cider they also have craft beer and mead on tap, a large patio, and Red River Kitchen Food Truck on site. Dog friendly inside, too.

 


Summit Brewing, St Paul. Located in St. Paul since 1986, Summit is Minnesota’s original craft brewery. Grab a cold one, nab a seat on their spacious, bluff-side patio (partially grass for Fido to chill upon), load up on the day’s food truck eats, and you’ve got it made.

 


Unmapped Brewing Co., Minnetonka. This new, locally-owned brewery is a welcome addition to the west metro, offering a year-round lineup of flagship “Belgian & Stateside Ales” along with a diverse supporting cast of special and limited release beers of all styles in the taproom. Dog friendly inside, too.

 


Urban Growler, St Paul. This is a paws-down delight, with fantastic beers, a tasty food menu, and plenty of sun right outside. With its huge patio, water bowls, and pup-loving staff, it’s no wonder customers are calling Urban Growler “a great place to bring dogs.

 


Wicked Wort, Robbinsdale. Wicked Wort Brewing Company offers tasty beer options, plus a small snack menu (plus free popcorn) and a dog-friendly patio with water bowls!

 

 


Wild Mind Artisan Ales, Minneapolis. Wild Mind brews sours, wilds, saisons, farmhouse, and rustic ales in old-world style with new world flair. Carefully chaotic. Dog friendly inside, too.

 


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I bring my dog inside at these breweries or should we stick to the patio?

Rules vary by brewery. If dogs are welcome inside, we’ve noted it in each brewery’s description above — if not, keep yer paws on the patio, please. 

Are any beers or sizes excluded?

Each brewery will hook you up with one free beer. Breweries are permitted to exclude beers as they see fit, but our brewery pass partners are awesome — you’re gonna have a great experience.

Do I have to be a dog owner to buy a Sidewalk Dog Brewery Pass?

Nope! These can be purchased by anyone. (If you don’t have a dog, you gotta to promise to pat one when you visit each brewery.)

When will my Pass expire?

You’ll have til December 31, 2018 to use your Pass. You can do it. We believe in you!

What if I prefer wine?

The Sidewalk Dog Restaurant Pass is coming; it’ll offer beer AND wine on patios! Sign up to be notified the moment it goes on sale.
