Things to Do Near Minneapolis This Weekend
1. Shakespeare in the Pub

Raise thou a pint at this weekend’s inaugural production of “The Tragedy of Richard III,” hosted by Sociable Cider Werks. Your terrier’ll love the terror and mayhem that unfolds during this free performance. Performed by the Gray Mallard Theatre, floof might even learn something from the tyrant’s rise and eventual demise during this 90-minute Shakesperean ride.
2. Live Jazz

Close out your weekend with a little bit of music with your mutt. The Hard Bop Collective is a pack of former professional jazz musicians whose sole purpose is to introduce new musicians and audiences to venues without a cover charge. Ah, pup yeah! Grab a cozy seat in their taproom or plop down on the patio—dogs are welcomed inside and out.
3. Farmers Market

Looking to make a barkcuterie board? Between the locally grown produce, artisan products, cheeses, and meats, this farmers market has got it all. While you’re shopping, pup can vibe out to their live music and get her paws on the preferred-customer weekly raffle too. Woof to the wise: this market has dog-gone good bakery treats!
4. Picture Day at Inbound BrewCo

Time to flash woofer’s pearly whites—Inbound BrewCo’s picture day is here! Caitlin Nightingale Photography will be capturing pawfessional photos of your adorable pooch for just $25 each (at the door). Solo selfie? Pawrent portrait? You can get your paws on either one. Don’t furget to grab a pint or two after—Inbound welcomes floofs inside and out.

1. Live Music at Keg and Case

Start the weekend shenanigans a wee bit early with Andrew Fredrick’s July Music Residency at the Keg and Case Market. Located on the historic grounds of the iconic Schmidt Brewery, this community hub features a uniquely curated market, casual eateries, a craft brewery, and a bustling, dog-friendly park with a diverse calendar of events.
2. Stroll and ‘Splore in Stillwater
Itchin’ to stretch those legs? Take your fur babe out for an easy Sunday drive to Stillwater. Start it off with a fresh-pressed juice from The Goodery or a latte on MADE Coffee’s pawtio. Rover on over to Lowell Park for some views of the river and the historic lift bridge. Finally, finish the day with a cold one on one of the many dog-friendly patios (most with live music). We ruv PD Pappy’s for the marina vibes, Thor’s Hard Cider for the grounds to roam, and The Freight House for its ginormous patio fit for any Dane.
