1. Wagapalooza
Bruz Beers, Denver
Saturday, August 20, 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
With a name like Wagapalooza, we doubt floof’s gonna wanna miss this one! It’s a dog pawty for a cause, raising money for Colorado no-kill dog rescues. Check out the silent auction and raffles, dog psychic, pet portraits, doggy massage, a pet caricaturist, and more!
2. Titos Dog Days of Summer
Grange Hall, Greenwood Village
Sunday, August 21, 12–3 p.m.
Bud can binge watch with the best of ‘em, but he’s been secretly hoping for some canine companionship (no offense!). Bring him to this pup patio party with special dog vendors, cocktails, and Tito’s swag. This month’s Dog Days of Summer event benefits Red Fern Animal Rescue.
3. Yappy Hour at Aspen Grove
Aspen Grove Center, Littleton
Sunday, August 21, 2–4 p.m.
Everypuppy knows the BARBOX Garden at Aspen Grove is where you want to be this weekend! Sip on a brew and soak in the rays while your pup takes a splash at Yappy Hour. The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley is hosting a dog washing fundraiser so you’ll leave with a cool and clean canine!
4. Dogs and Doughnuts
Barr Lake, Brighton
Saturday, August 20, 8–9:30 a.m.; Registration
Enjoy a beautiful Saturday morning hike at Barr Lake State Park, a short drive northeast of the Denver area. Did we mention there will be donuts?! Meet ranger Michelle at the nature center and she’ll lead you and your furry fren on an easy hike complete with sugary treatos!
5. Tiki Party
Cerebral Brewing, Denver
Saturday, August 20, 12 p.m.
Doesn’t a refreshing tiki cocktail sound pawfect right now? Don your fave tropical-themed attire and head to Cerebral Brewing’s Tiki Party. The draft list will boast a never-before-brewed Bird of Paradise Fruited Sour and some of their favorite iterations of the Forbidden Idol series. Relax while sipping an umbrella drink with your bestie because dogs are welcome on the patio.
6. Doggy Dip Days
Pools in Thornton, Arvada, and Littleton
Sunday, August 20, see below for times
Take your swimming sidekick for a dip this weekend because these pools are going to the dogs!
- The Thornton City Pool will host dogs from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. The cost is $5 per dog and one human companion and $1 per additional humans. Proof of current pet vaccinations is required to participate.
- The Secrest Recreation Center pool in Arvada is letting doggies take a dip from 9:30 a.m.–1 p.m. The cost is $10 per dog and pups will be allowed in at different times based on size. Proof of current pet vaccinations is required.
- The Ranch House Pool at Ken-Caryl Ranch in Littleton will be full of paddling pups from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. The cost is $10 or $12 and you’ll need to reserve your spot here.
7. Summer Concert Series
Bruz (Off Fax) and Bruz Beers Midtown, Denver
Saturday, August 20, 6–8 p.m. @ both Bruz locations
Tails will be tappin’ this Saturday as both Bruz Beers locations host FREE live music. Local singer-songwriter Steven Huntley will be playing Bruz Beers Midtown, while bluegrass and folk performer Mark Emde will be rockin’ at Bruz Off Fax. Plus, it’s just a buck for a 4-ounce pour with purchase of a full draft.

Adoptable Puppies, Yoga & Wine
- This Sunday, August 21, from 12–2 p.m., The Infinite Monkey Theorem is hosting rescue puppy yoga. Enjoy an hour of yoga on Infinite Monkey’s urban oasis patio with Lola’s Rescue puppies demonstrating their best downward facing dog for all the belly rubs. After yoga, spend a bit more time hangin’ with adorable pups while enjoying a delicious glass of wine from Infinite Monkey included in your class purchase.
