Spread the Woof: Local Veterinary Clinic Offering Free Exams for Pets Whose Humans are Affected by Government Shutdown

This just in: The dog lovers at Mission Animal Hospital (MAH) announced that they’re serving up free physical exams for pets of humans affected by the current federal government shutdown.

MAH declared the initiative on social media yesterday:

“BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: In response to the longest federal government shutdown in United States history, Mission is offering free physical exams for the pets of federal government employees affected by the shutdown. This service will be offered to both the federal employees who have been furloughed and those deemed essential who have continued to work without pay. Please let our staff know when scheduling and bring proof of employment (paystub or ID) to your visit.”

Thanks for all you do, MAH! ♥
