1. Mingo (Music Bingo)

Bingo may be his name-o, but have you heard of his sister, Mingo? Well let us introduce you to Mingo, music bingo. This family-friendly (but more importantly, dog-friendly) event replaces bingo numbers with songs for a fun spin on a classic game.
2. Pop Trivia
Domanico Cellars, Seattle
Thursday, October 20, 7-9 p.m.
You and pup have spent hours on the couch watching Bravo TV and E! News, and for what? For this. Put your years of pop culture training to good use at Domanico Cellars’ Pop Trivia in Ballard. Doors open at 5 p.m. so come early, grab a table and a wine slushie, and make Andy Cohen proud.
3. Howl and Prowl
Reber Ranch, Kent

This one is for all the pets! Reber Ranch is throwing their annual Howl and Prowl with a costume contest and parade. Here’s the kicker: it’s not just for dogs, it’s for all creature—cats, chickens, bunnies, llamas and ponies included. Prizes go out to the cutest, funniest, and most creative costumes so bring your best ideas and whole menagerie!
4. Howl-O-Ween Festival
Waterfront Market, Ruston
Saturday, October 22, 2-3:30 p.m.
We know you adopted your dog for love and companionship, it’s an added perk they look so dang cute in a costume. Show off your fluffy cutie at Ruston Waterfront Market’s Howl-O-Ween Festival. This day is all about your pet, with photos, treats, and of course a costume contest. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. but arrive by 2 p.m. for the pet contest and parade.
5. Dogtober Fest
Crucible Brewing, Everett
Saturday, October 22, 2-6 p.m.
For the party pup that loves a cause, Dogtober Fest is for you. Come to Crucible Brewing in Everett to celebrate Three Little Pitties Rescue and have fun with a dog costume contest, raffles, a silent auction and more. Beer sale proceeds will benefit the rescue, and we can all clink to that!
6. DogVideoFest 2022
SIFF Cinema Egyptian, Seattle
Sunday, October 23, 12 p.m., 2:30 p.m, 5 p.m.; tickets required
While your phone’s video gallery probably includes enough footage to make a featured film, let’s check out what the professionals have made. Come to the SIFF Cinema Egyptian for DogVideoFest 2022, a day dedicated to movie ruffs! A curated 71 minutes of the best dog videos on the internet, we think your pup will give this film 2 dew claws up. Pick from three showtimes.

- Wilco Farm Store in Gig Harbor is hosting an adoption event for CHEW Dog Rescue on Saturday, October 22 from 12-3 p.m. in stores. Make sure you check out their adoption process online before the event. You might just fall in ruv!
