1. Dog Yard Trivia Night
Dog Yard, Seattle
Thursday, June 2, 7:30 p.m.; registration required
Gather your pup and a pack of 4 hoomans for a free trivia night this Thursday at Dog Yard. Go 7 rounds of brain-bustin’ questions while that big-brained doggo of yours plays with his pup frens. Dog Yard is serving up noms to refuel your noggin and some treats for the woofer. Arrive with your group at 7 p.m. to check in and don’t furget to register pup on their website beforehand.
2. BECU Drive-in Movies at Marymoor Park
Marymoor Park, Redmond
Thursday, June 2, 9:15–11:15 p.m.; ticket required
It’s showtime! The Marymoor Park Drive-in movie series will be showing the 80s mutts-terpiece “Labyrinth,” so load up the car or grab the picnic blanket and sniff out the best spot. Food trucks are there for late-night noms when you run out of Twizzlers and milk bones. If pup has too much energy before or after the movie, get those zoomies out at the Marymoor Off Leash Area nearby.
3. Ballard Locks Summer Concert
Ballard Locks, Seattle
Saturday, June 4, 2 p.m.
Got a funky Fido who’s ready to shake his tail? Sounds like the Ballard Locks Summer Concert Series might be the pawfect weekend activity. Grab a spot by the outdoor amphitheater and wiggle that butt to the Boeing Employees Concert Band. They build planes and bring the funk? Hot diggity dog! Admission is free to this dog-friendly event, but donations are welcome to help offset care and maintenance.
4. Seattle Pride in the Park
Volunteer Park, Seattle
Saturday, June 4, 2–9 p.m.
It’s June, which can only mean one thing—Pride month is here! Head to Volunteer Park with your lil’ lovebug this Saturday to celebrate with Seattle Pride in the Park. This free event features a full day of fun, food, and support for Seattle’s pawmazing LGBTQIA+ community. Grab a bevvie and get your groove on while you and your leashed pup check out booths and food trucks set up by local businesses. After a kick-off like this, doggo’ll be looking forward to the rest of Pride month.
