1. Columbia City Night Market

37th Ave S. between S. Hudson and S. Ferdinand, Seattle
Saturday, September 17, 6–10 p.m.

When something’s described as “the dopest night market in the universe,” you just gotta check it out! Take the whole fam (don’t forget floof!) to this monthly event set in Seattle’s historic Columbia City neighborhood. Run by Nonprofit Peace Peloton, the night market features food trucks, performing artists, local makers and creators, live music, a beer garden, and more!

2. Fremont Sunday Market Ice Cream Social

3401 Evanston Ave N., Seattle
Sunday, September 18, 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

Summer may be nearly over, but the Fremont Sunday Street Market is throwing one last ice cream pawty to make it count! Some of Seattle’s best cold treat purveyors will be servin’ up scoops at the city’s largest open air street market. Pup says extra sprinkles, please!

3. Dogtoberfest

Fremont, Seattle
Sunday, September 18, 12–5 p.m.; Tickets Required

Fremont Oktoberfest is Seattle’s largest beer festival and on Sunday only, man’s best friend also gets to be man’s best drinking buddy! He’ll beer-ly be able to contain his excitement when the two of you cheers to all your weekend adventures. Your ticket includes a commemorative tasting mug for you—don’t furget the water bowl for pup.

4. Slobberfest  

Marymoor Park, Redmond
Saturday, September 17, 12–3 p.m.

Does your bulldog drool well with others? If so, head over to Slobberfest at Marymoor Park’s Velodrome Shelter! Sponsored by the Bulldog Club of Greater Seattle, there’ll be games, an agility course, raffles, a bake sale and of course, plenty of slobber to go around.

Doggone Seattle

  • Head to Queen Anne’s Old Stove Brewing Company on Saturday, September 17 from 1–4 p.m. for a cold drink and warm kisses from pups from Doggone Seattle. Volunteers and fosters will be on hand to answer questions about adopting. They don’t offer same-day adoptions, but you can start by filling out your application online in advance.

Wet Noses Foster Paws

  • Wet noses, foster paws, and a cold beer? What else could you need for a perfect Sunday! Check out the Stoup Brewing taproom in Ballard on Sunday, September 18 from 1–4 p.m. to meet some adoptable dogs and cats from Wet Noses Foster Paws.
