1. Secret Cinema & Cider

Bring your coziest blanket and snuggliest sidekick to this outdoor movie night for a relaxing way to start the weekend. Enjoy the movie along with custom concessions from The EuroWagen and delicious ciders and slushies from Waldschänke Ciders. What’s pup with it being a secret? Due to licensing agreements, the actual name of the movie can’t be advertised, so you get to read these hilarious alternative titles and make your best guess!

Bring your Scooby Doo (and your little boo babes, too!) to this family-friendly Halloween shindig on the green space at 8th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. Pick a pumpkin from the patch, concoct a witch’s brew at the Postino drink tent, get your face painted, snap a spooky pic in the photo booth, and listen to music. There’ll be trick-or-treating for kiddos, plus a doggie costume contest and parade for the pups!
3. Frolic Brewing 5k

If your idea of getting ready for Halloween is poppin’ fun size candy bars like it’s your job, we see you. And we’re here to help. Run off a few Reece’s at Frolic Brewing Company’s 5k-ish fun run that starts and ends at their Westminster taproom. You and your pint-sized jogging buddy can complete the course as fast or slow as you please, then celebrate with a free local craft brew at the finish line.
4. Trivia Night
BARBOX Garden at Aspen Grove, Littleton
Saturday, October 22, 4–6 p.m.
Who’s a smartie pup? Bring your lil brainiac to Trivia Night at the BARBOX by Breckenridge Brewery where you’ll outsmart (or at least outcute) everyone! They’ve got prizes, brews, and other treats to keep everyone yappy. Dress for the weather, and check Aspen Grove’s social media for updates in case of any event changes.
5. Howl-a-Ween Pet Parade

Sunday, October 23, 1–3 p.m.
It’s finally here—the time of year when we get to dress up in matching costumes with our dogs without getting weird looks from strangers! Fetch your best Halloween get-ups and prance over to the Howl-a-Ween Pet Parade around the plaza of Union Station. After competing for top-dog prizes, celebrate the spooky season with drink specials on the Terminal Bar patio.

Rescue Puppy Yoga
- It’s Rescue Puppy Yoga: Halloween Edition! Grab a mat and head to ViewHouse Ballpark in Denver at 9 a.m. Saturday for a morning of stress-relieving cuteness. Do your best downward dog while costumed rescue pups frolic around. The class is 45 minutes long and you’ll have an additional 15 minutes after class to take pictures, play, and fill out an adoption application.
