A Mutts-Attend: Doggie Depot 2021 Goes Virtual

All aboard (the virtual train)! While things look a lot different this year, Doggie Depot 2021 remains a mutts-attend event for pups and their people thanks to host Union Depot and their perennial sponsor, Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota. Here’s the quick sniff on how they’re adapting this year’s event:

Vendors & Rescues

By now, pup’s no stranger to getting a new box on his doorstep every day (two paws up when it’s from Chewy or BarkBox). Shopping has moved online and pup doesn’t have to remember the names of all the goods he wants to buy, because they’ll be listed here. Union Depot will feature one vendor’s wares or a rescue’s adoptable and adorable puppers on their Facebook page each day.

It wouldn’t be Doggie Depot without the doga! Virtual doga just means less pup toots during Downward-facing Dog, and we honestly aren’t mad about it. Perfect your form from the comfort of your home by tuning in on Feb. 6 at 9 a.m.

Canine Crowning Ceremony

Mark your agendogs—the social event of the year takes place Feb. 6 at 1 p.m. on Union Depot’s website. Emceed by Murrow the Frenchie, the crowning ceremony will feature special appearances by the Saint Paul Winter Carnival fam, and of course, this year’s furry King and Queen!

Bark your calendars for what we hope is a once-in-a-lifetime event! Seriously. This puppin’ pandemic has got to end sometime. We really miss petting all the dogs. And be sure to keep an eye on Union Depot’s website for all of the Doggie Depot 2021 virtual festivities.
