They say lavender is grrreat for relaxing and unwinding, but it also makes for a heckin’ gorg backdrop for your furbabe. If you’re looking for the ultimutt summer adventure full of sweet smells and re-barkable views, check out our list of dog-friendly Washington lavender farms.

1. Pelindaba Lavender
Daily, 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., May–Oct.
Follow that snoot to Pelindaba Lavender in Friday Harbor where admission is FREE and the fields are never closed to walkies. When the Gatehouse Farm store is open, you can browse over 200 lavender products, visit the distillery, and cut your own lavender bunches. The best bloom is July through August. Tip: Check out the Washington Ferry’s dog policy before your trip.
2. Lavender Hill Farm
Thursdays–Sundays, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., June 16–July 24
The lavender here is in bloom all season, so get that snoot and camera ready. Catch a ferry to Lavender Hill Farm on Vashon Island for u-cut lavender, handmade goods, wreath making, and endless photo opps. FREE admission lets you tour the fields to your pup’s content.
3. B&B Family Farm
Daily, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., May–Sept.
Leash pup and head out to B&B Family Farm for u-cut lavender, handmade lavender products, and educational tours. Admission is free to walk the farm and get ur sniff on. The best bloom is in late June through August, but their lavender ice cream and lemonade make this Washington state lavender farm pawesome all season long.
4. Fleurish Lavender of Lost Mountain
Thursdays–Mondays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Memorial Day–Labor Day
Pup’s headed fur the mountain, Fleurish Lavender of Lost Mountain in Sequim, that is. The best bloom in June through August, but the fun knows no season. Your fluff will have a tail-waggin’ time with u-cut lavender, lavender products, craft vendors, wreath making, and essential oil distillation. FREE admission never smelled so good.
5. In Bloom Lavender Farms
Wednesdays–Sundays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., June 1–Labor Day
Your fur baby is gonna ruv In Bloom Lavender Farms in Sequim. The $10 admission gets you u-cut lavender (best bloom is end of June through August), lavender goods, picnic spots, music, noms, bevvies, and a play area for hooman kids. Buy a plant on your way out to bring that sweet smell home.
6. Jardin du Soleil
Daily, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Apr.–Sept.
Fun awaits you and pup at Jardin du Soleil in Sequim. This full-sized farm features u-cut lavender (best bloom July through August), lavender products, a garden maze, crafts, music, goats, and chickens for only $10 admission. Refuel with some ice cream after exploring, and don’t furget to immortalize your fun day at the souvenir photo booth.
7. Lavender Connection
Fridays–Mondays, 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Memorial Day–Labor Day
Strengthen ur connection with your best fren at Lavender Connection. FREE admission gains you access to u-cut lavender, handmade products, lavender lattes, and the “aromatic tasting” bar where you can design your signature scent. Pup wants to know if they have a milk bone scent? After getting smelly, take some pics for the gram in their photo-ready fields and historic barn. The best bloom is the end of June through August.
8. Meli’s Lavender
Fridays–Sundays, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., July 6–Aug. 30
After smelling Meli’s Lavender, doggo’ll wanna start a lavender patch. Free admission gives you access to u-cut lavender, handmade products, lavender plants for sale, wreath-making demonstrations, etc. Meli’s best bloom is the entire puppin’ season, so the fields are always Insta-ready.
9. Nelson’s Duck Pond & Lavender
Daily, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., year-round
Your social puppo can meet the ducks and get his smell on at Nelson’s Duck Pond & Lavender. This sweet smellin’ spot is open year-round to buy handmade products and plants. Best bloom for u-cut lavender is June through August. Come back anytime for a picnic and sniff about.
10. Purple Haze Lavender
Wednesdays–Mondays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Memorial Day–Labor Day
Explore the 7 acres of Purple Haze Lavender for only $5 for the whole weekend. Sniff out Purple Haze June through August for best bloom and u-cut lavender. They offer lavender products, ice cream, bevvies, and even massages all season. Fido wants them to get his belly real good.
11. Rain Shadow Lavender Farm
Wednesdays–Sundays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Memorial Day–Labor Day
Your Seattleite doggo knows all about rain, so her tail is waggin’ for Rain Shadow Lavender Farm in Sequim. Sniff out the best bloom in June through August for u-cut lavender, but enjoy craft vendors, educational demonstrations, and live music all season.
12. Rancho La Morada
Fridays–Sundays, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., first weekend of June–last weekend of Sept.
Rancho La Morada in Sequim is the Washington state lavender farm to visit if pup wants to start his own garden. The best bloom is July through August for u-cut lavender, but their selection of u-cut flowers bloom all season. Get those paws dirty and pick from a Mastiff selection of lavender and other plants for sale.
13. Victor’s Lavender
Tuesdays–Sundays, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., Memorial Day–June; 10 a.m.–5 p.m., July–Aug.
Warm up those paws to walk the fields at Victor’s Lavender in Sequim. After an afternoon of gathering lavender, smelling products, and eatin’ yummy desserts, stay for the Friday and Saturday night barn dances. The best bloom is July through August, but we’re sure pup’s moves could impress all season.
14. Washington Lavender
Daily, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Memorial Day–Labor Day
Visit Washington Lavender in Port Angeles for u-cut lavender, handmade goods, and photo opps galore. FREE admission means doggo can roam through the fields as long as he wants—actually, as long as you want cuz we know he could roam furever. Get your snout and camera ready for the best bloom from June through August.

- Bark your calendars for the Sequim Lavender Festival from July 15-17! Enjoy the best smelling weekend ever as all the lavender farms in Sequim will be offering food vendors, craft classes, educational demonstrations, and loads of handmade products. Only lavender—and petting doggo, pup course—can make you feel as calm as this weekend will. Puppers are welcome at the Sequim park event and all the Sequim farms on this list.
