7 Things To Do With Your Dog in Lincoln Park

Looking for fun things to do in Lincoln Park with your Chicago pup? There’s lots to do in this super dog-friendly area! We sniffed out some of the best spots in the neighborhood for dogs to show up and show out.

1. Wiggly Field

Surprisingly spacious and with fairly easy street parking, Wiggly Field is a favorite for Lincoln Park pups. In addition to providing ample room for your dog to prance around doing cute things, the park also often features tennis balls that have been left behind as a special surprise just for your dog (he’s sure of it).

2. LUSH Cosmetics

In addition to smelling fantastic at all times, LUSH Cosmetics employees seem to have one other universal common quality: they love dogs. When a dog comes in, everyone in the store seems to stop what they’re doing to give your dog the hero’s welcome. You’ll enjoy perusing fresh, organic skin and hair care, and your dog will appreciate the company’s cruelty-free mission.

3. Broken English

It’s been a weird couple years. Maybe you and pup should taco bout it. Treat yourselves to a taco tray or 12 at Broken English‘s Lincoln Park location. Did we mention the $100 borracho-sized marg?

4. Gemini

Situated at the midway point between Oz Park and Lincoln Park, Gemini offers a cozy dog-friendly outdoor space. Brunch offerings include sticky cinnamon buns and bottomless mimosas. It’s the perfect place to make your Sunday walk ritual just a little more special.

5. Sapori Trattoria

For a special occasion (or to finally woo that cute dog owner you always try to casually coordinate your dog park visits with), the outdoor dining space at upscale Italian favorite Sapori Trattoria will not disappoint. They’ll even customize a menu on your dog’s special day.

6. River Shannon

*Very* dog-friendly River Shannon welcomes your dog inside but kindly asks that your dog please be careful not to overindulge in what reviewers assert is “The Best Guinness in the City” (admittedly, we are unsure of how this is determined). There’s free popcorn, a giant game of Jenga, and lots of pups to meet and mingle with. The patrons here love petting dogs, so don’t expect yours will pay too much attention to you.

7. Ranalli’s

Humans and dogs alike love Ranalli’s for delicious pizza and great service on the patio. No, for real—we are talking top notch service here. One reviewer tells an epic tale of a time that the host stand was out of treats and offered her dog her very own burger or chicken breast. Let this kind staff give your pup the service she always knew she deserved.
