8 Heated Dog-Friendly Patios in Denver for Winter Woofers

Sure our best fren loves snugglin’ up on the couch just as much as the next dog, but she *yawns* at the idea of another Friday night at home. It’s high time to spice things up, bundle up, and take her out for a night on the town at one of these Denver dog-friendly heated patios.

1. Postino Lo-Hi

Nothing screams romance like a cozy outdoor fireplace. So grab your date and doggo (no judgment if doggo IS your date) and soak up the ambience whining and dining on Italian food at Postino Lo-Hi. We’re told the bruschetta board is deliciously droolworthy.

2. Happy Camper

Vintage lovin’ canines’ll go mutts for the retro vibe at Happy Camper, whose patio features a fireplace, disco balls, and tire swings. Enjoy some tasty drinks in adorable camper mugs while woofin’ down pizza and other classic American fare. Make a reservation—Happy Camper is always hoppin.’

3. My Neighbor Felix

Want some delish Mexican food on a budget? Check out My Neighbor Felix’s “Taco Twosday” special, which includes two tacos and a margarita for $15. Servin’ up savory cuisine in style, they also boast a roomy heated patio perfect for woofs of all sizes.

4. My Brother’s Bar

For the down-to-earth dog and his hooman, the formula to happiness is simple: Burgers. Beer. Patio. My Brother’s Bar has perfected it, which makes sense—they’ve been around since 1873. There’s plenty-o-room on their heated patio for everypup.

5. Angelo’s Taverna

Landlocked Denverites dream of fresh seafood and authentic Italian fare. Angelo’s Taverna delivers, featuring oysters, mollusks, mussels, and the best eggplant parm in Denver. Their menu is big, but their patio is bite-sized, so it’s best suited for small, well-behaved woofs

6. The Watering Bowl

Is your woofer interested in socializing with other canines? The Watering Bowl is Denver’s premier dog bar designed for pups first. The Glendale spot features a spacious AstroTurf dog park with lots of outdoor seating and heat lamps. Hoomans can grab a craft beer, cocktail, and pub grub like nachos and pizza while doggos flirt, chase, and out pee each other. With upwards of 50 dogs showing up at once, this is not the spot for timid canines. But if your pooch likes to party, he’ll love this patio.

7. Number Thirty Eight

When temps drop, the party keeps going at Number Thirty Eight thanks to the many heaters keeping their super-size patio cozy for floofs and their humans. The stage is regularly rocking with local bands you’ve never heard of and big-name acts you’ve been dying to hear. You’ll love the unique wristband payment system that allows you to order with a simple wave of your wrist, keeping your hands free for extra pets for doggo.

8. The Golden Mill

With 40+ taps of the highest quality beers in Golden, self-pour ciders, high-quality wines, and house-made cocktails, there’s something for everypuppy at The Golden Mill. Dogs are allowed on the “yard” patio, but not the rooftop patio, so enter through the gate on Ford St. Their new heated patio tent is sure to keep paws warm while you cheers to the freakin’ weekend.
