The scoop from a resident pup and her yappy hoomans:

“Woof. This place is amazing. I have met so many friends in the building. For some reason, my owners are very excited about the dog wash station. In order to make them happy, I do my best to roll in whatever I can find so they can use the station to clean me off. You might be asking yourself, why do I voluntarily take action that leads to bathtime? Did I mention that the building management supplies treats in the wash station? Jackpot!” — Laney, canine resident

“When looking for a new apartment, amenities for the pups were just as important as amenities for us. Spacious apartments for the dogs to roam? Check. Balcony and large windows for the dogs to watch the world pass by? Check. Forgot a poop bag? Don’t worry, the building has installed bag dispensers at exits. And the big one, a dog wash station INSIDE the building that’s easy to use for both our large dog and small dog. We love the neighborhood, too. There are so many great walking paths nearby. Less than two blocks to the north is Minnehaha Creek, and there are even more walking paths a few blocks east at Pearl Park. We have really enjoyed our time here so far and look forward to exploring the community even further with the pups.” –Ben and Randi S., human residents

Onsite Perks
Pups will love all the nearby options for dog-friendly field trips, and with a pooches-welcome lobby and a shiny new doggie wash station in the garage, even their comings and goings will be wag-worthy.

For bigs and littles alike, bath time is almost a paw-ty at the pet wash station.

Getting Physical
Zest residents are some of the luckiest dawgs in the land o’ lakes as they’re just minutes from the Minnehaha Off-Leash Recreation Area, one of the most paw-mazing dog parks around. They can walk, run, roll, and even swim in the mighty Mississippi. When you’re not up for an all-out romp, do Minnehaha Park instead; the paths along Minnehaha Creek are both scenic and socially sniff-worthy. Looking for a little solitude? Take a quiet trek along the wooded trails at nearby Diamond Lake Park. For a more energetic scene, sporty folks and spectators alike will love the activities and amenities at Pearl Park.

Yappy Hours and Doggie Dates
You’d think we couldn’t possibly rave about Minnehaha Park any more, but we can! Its onsite restaurant, Sea Salt Eatery, boasts a premiere pup-lovin’ patio, views of either the green lawns or the Falls, and menu of fresh seafood and cool beverages. Other notable nearby patios include Patisserie 46 and their to-die-for Euro-style pastries and coffee, or Cafe Ena for lively Latin fusion.
