Denver Oktoberfest (Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22) There’s no better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Denver’s greatest beer event than chugging a pint or two with your two- and four-legged friends in the center of downtown. It’s Oktoberfest! Cough up $30, put a pretzel necklace around your neck, and head to LoDo with your leashed and friendly pup in tow fur a tail-thumping weekend you may not remember… but won’t want to forget. DockDogs at Broomfield Days (Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22) Give your dog something to drool over this weekend at the DockDogs competition in Broomfield. The DockDogs (A.K.A the Olympics for dogs compete for glory by jumping off a dock) is pawsitively a spectacle you and your floofer won’t want to miss. Who knows, maybe it’ll give your buddy something to woof about and finally get in shape? #inspo
Broncos Watch Party (11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, September 22) It’s puppin’ football season, which means booze, brews, and probably some boo hoos (especially if you’re a Broncos fan). Bring your furry friend to Zuni Street Brewing for a little bit of comfort, thank dog, as you watch the Broncos game with the rest of the pack. Bonus?
