Here at Sidewalk Dog we know a thing or two about pup-lovin’ breweries. Because we ruv you, we’ve compiled a list of upcoming events hosted by 20 of our best dog-friendly brewery friends.
Mark your calendars, folks–from paw-lickin’ food trucks to trivia and patio festivities galore, there’s something for everyone. Hop to it!
56 Brewing | Northeast Minneapolis | Dog-friendly inside, too
56 Brewing has a core lineup of bold and session craft beers with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. Their focus is on community and beer lovers alike, highlighting the NE Minneapolis community and brewery culture.
• Pinball, Pints, and 1/2 Price Growler Refills | Every Sunday in April from 4-9pm
Your first game of pinball is on them! Receive $1 in quarters with your first pint. And to top it all off, growler refills are 1/2 price on Sunday nights. Catch ya there!
• Succulent Bar Make + Take Event | May 3 from 6-9pm
Join 56 for the hopportunity to create your very own Insta-worthy succulent arrangement! Be there or be square. Or whatever the kids say these days.
• 56 Brewing Anniversary Celebration | May 5 from 12-10pm
56 is celebrating their anniversary and (hopefully) the arrival of spring in style: this all-day outdoor event will include art, music, and beer.
Able Seedhouse & Brewery| Minneapolis | Dog-friendly inside, too
Come for the beer and enjoy the atmosphere! You can bring in food from any local restaurant or enjoy the food trucks nearby. It’s the perfect place to bring your furry best friend; they offer treats and snacks.
• Food Trucks | Most Thursdays through Saturdays in April
The Sidewalk Dog holy trinity: food trucks, beer, and dogs. Able Seedhouse is here to make our dreams come true with a wide variety of some of the Twin Cities’ favorite food trucks like CRAFT Mobile Kitchen, Simply Steve’s, Vito Lucco, and Urban Sub.
• Circa NOW | April 29 from 11am-5pm
Hazel + Rose presents Circa NOW, a fashion show, panel discussion, and pop-up shop in partnership with local thrift and vintage curators. Tickets required for the fashion show and panel, but the pop-up is open to all! Recommended for only the most poised (read: well-behaved) of doggos!
Alloy Brewing Co. | Coon Rapids
This destination taproom/microbrewery has over 16 awards under their belt in categories ranging from stouts, to European lagers, to even fruit beer. They are constantly tweaking old favorites and trying out new recipes.
• Sunday Funday | Sundays from 12-8pm
Adulting all week is hard. You deserve to enjoy the weekends, which is why Alloy gives you $1 off your first pint, all day, every Sunday.
Bad Weather Brewing Company | St. Paul
Although Minnesotans will insist “there’s no such thing as bad weather,” St. Paul’s Bad Weather Brewing Company begs to differ. Here the ales are “untethered and unpredictable” — in other woofs, perfectly aligned with Minnesota’s fickle forecasts.
• Outdoor Arcade Party | May 11 – May 13
Bad Weather is turning their patio and parking lot into a giant, three-day celebration of pinball and classic arcade games with special beer releases, a DJ on Saturday night, and tasty food trucks.
• Food Trucks | Every night in April + May
Bad Weather loves food trucks as much as the next pup, and they’ve got a huge lineup to choose from throughout April and May, including Northbound Smokehouse, Medbox Grill, West Indies Soul Food, O’Cheeze, and Sasquatch Sandwiches, just to name a few.
Bent Brewstillery | Roseville | Dog-friendly inside, too
Come for the dog-friendly taproom, stay for the diverse offering of local bevs. With the availability of food trucks for peeps and water dishes and treats for pups, it’s no wonder one customer raved: “SO FUN and super dog-friendly.”
• May The 4th Be With You | May 4 at 5pm
Movies, a special “Dark Fatha” keg tapping, and yummy eats. What could be more perfect than a Star Wars-themed evening at Bent?
• 4th Annual Crawfish Boil | May 26 at 12pm
Bent is excited to host the 4th annual bayou, beer, and booze! Join ’em for a plate of tasty crawfish or chicken jambalaya and a pint for $15 (while supplies last).
Broken Clock Brewing Co-op. | Minneapolis | Dog-friendly inside, too
At Broken Clock, they aspire to make a difference by empowering people and fostering collaboration in the community. As a community-owned and operated co-op, it’s about more than just the beer at Broken Clock — though good beer never hurts.
• Spring Pint Nights | April 12-13 at 4pm + April 14-15 at 12pm
Broken Clock is kicking off Spring with four days of pints, your favorites on-tap, and limited edition bottles of Intoxi(CAT)ed Hibiscus Saison.
Day Block Brewing Co. | Minneapolis
From great beers to bacon flights and top-notch brunches, Day Block has it all — including a sweet little patio with afternoon sun.
• Industry Night | Sundays from 4-11pm
Day Block likes to celebrate people who work in the restaurant/bar industry every Sunday night. Stop in with your restaurant or bar paystub or in uniform to receive exclusive Industry Night deals!
• Monthly Small-Batch Release | May 2 from 11am-11pm
Every 1st Wednesday of the month, Day Block hosts a small-batch release all day long (while supplies last)–giving you more opportunities to get your paws on their limited edition brew.
Excelsior Brewing | Excelsior | Dog-friendly inside, too
They celebrate the rich history of Lake Minnetonka and historic Excelsior by delivering superior, hand-crafted brews. You’ll find a fun vibe, great beer, and live music.
• 2-4-1 growlers | Tuesdays from 4-10pm
The name says it all. You’re welcome.
• Pegs, Kegs, & Vinyls | Thursdays from 6:30-9pm
Excelsior hosts a weekly single-elimination cribbage tournament in their taproom with vinyls spinning all night long, and your first pint is on them if you register for the tournament in advance!
Fair State Co-Op | Northeast Minneapolis | Dog-friendly inside, too
Good beer for good people. Their goal is to put the natural connection between brewer and community to work to create something that truly belongs to us all. Creating infinite community and quality craft beers.

Every Thursday, Fair State unveils a new beer. You don’t want to miss it.
• Fair State Trivia | Wednesday nights starting at 7pm
To add to the weekly fun, Fair State also hosts weekly trivia nights with prizes that include bar tabs, swag, and more!
The Freehouse | North Loop, Minneapolis

HeadFlyer wants to celebrate their first birthday with all their friends (even the four-legged ones) in tow! Blue Door Pub and MN Nice Cream is on the menu for the big event, as well as entertainment from Dan Ristrom and The Big Throwdown 8-12 and THREE fabulous beer releases!
Inbound BrewCo | North Loop, Minneapolis
Journey into beer at Inbound, where you’ll find some of the most drinkable craft beer around. Food truck fare is available most days. At Inbound, they’re #ALLinONBEER.
• Second Anniversary | April 20 – 22
Inbound invites you to their 3-day anniversary bash. They’ve got a food truck lineup, a stash of beer releases, and live music. Come on Friday, and stay all weekend.
• Trivia Mafia Mondays | Every Monday from 7-9pm
Join Inbound and the Trivia Mafia crew every Monday night for some brews and some Qs.
Lakes & Legends Brewing Company | Minneapolis | Dog-friendly inside, too
Here you’ll find high-quality, farm-to-table beer that will raise the expectations and expand the possibilities of what you can get from a beer. They focus on quality ingredients, spotlighting their farming partners wherever possible.
• Trivia | Tuesdays from 7-9pm
The popular Trivia Mafia comes to Lakes & Legends every Tuesday night with prizes for the top three teams, so round up your closest – and preferably smartest – friends and put on your thinking caps.
• Plant Nite | April 15 from 7-9pm
Head to Lakes & Legends for two lively hours of creativity, drinking, and laughing ‘til your cheeks hurt. Everything you need to create your very own little succulent garden will be provided. Get there early so you can grab a brew and a spot.
• Craft & Sip | June 7 from 6-8:30pm
Lakes & Legends is partnering with Whitmor Crafts for this unique event where you get to choose from over 40 different pallet-inspired designs. No experience necessary. You must pre-register for this event and spots are filling fast!
OMNI Brewing | Maple Grove | Dog-friendly inside, too
In addition to unique craft brews, OMNI is newly dog-friendly indoors. They offer water dishes and majorly dog-loving staff.
• Infuseday Tuesday | Tuesdays
Every Tuesday, OMNI transforms one of their favorite beers into a new, exclusive beer. For example, they might turn their Regular Sweetness Stout into a Vanilla Coffee Sweetness. A new flavor every week. We’ll see ya there!
Sisyphus Brewing | Minneapolis | Dog-friendly inside, too
Not only are their craft beer offerings out of this world, but customers also rave about the dog-loving staff at Sisyphus. Slide into a seat at this pups-welcome taproom and enjoy a cold one or two.
• Drag Blingo with B. Louise | Tuesdays from 8-9:30pm
Blingo hosted by the fabulous B. Louise will quickly become your favorite weekly tradition. Join the folks at Sisyphus to drink beer, play blingo, win prizes, and learn life lessons from our favorite Queen, B. Louise.
• Paint Your Pet | June 13 from 6-9pm
A photo of your choice will be turned into a paint by number, so no experience is necessary! Haven’t we always said that beer and dogs are a match made in heaven? Space is limited, and you must pre-register for this event by June 3.
Sociable Cider Werks | Northeast Minneapolis | Dog-friendly inside, too
The hard ciders here are well carbonated, dry, and always made from real apples. It’s decidedly different. It’s delightfully Sociable.
• Date Night with Red River Kitchen | Wednesdays from 4-8pm
The amazing folks at Red River Kitchen create a unique menu every Wednesday especially to be shared with your sweetie (or best friend, mom, neighbor — they’ll leave that up to you). Live music, too!
• Speed Bingo | Mondays from 6-8 pm through May 28
Speed Bingo is a “coverall” game where the numbers are called as quickly as possible. Think you can keep up? DJ Hazy Harold and JMO will be calling numbers faster than you can drink a pint. Prizes include taproom gift cards, can koozies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, glassware, hats, barrel-aged releases, crowlers and growlers. Free to play!
• Sociable Summer | June 10, July 29, + August 19 at 2pm
Sociable is gonna please your palate with crisp new ciders, soothe your ears with live music, and provide a doggone good time for all at their Sociable Summer events.
Unmapped Brewing Co. | Minnetonka | Dog-friendly inside, too
This new, locally-owned brewery is a welcome addition to the west metro, offering a year-round lineup of flagship “Belgian & Stateside Ales” along with a diverse supporting cast of special and limited release beers of all styles in the taproom.
• Guys’ Guide To Mother’s Day Gift Giving | April 22 from 12-7pm
Alright, fellas, it’s high-time to get your Mother’s Day gift giving right! The MnArtTruck will be onsite and loaded to the hilt with killer gifts. Yep, it’s a dude’s dream come true: You get to hang out at a brewery, drink beer, eat food, AND buy Mother’s Day gifts that will finally be appreciated (they’ll even wrap the gifts for you while you eat and drink).
Urban Growler | St. Paul
Urban Growler is, paws-down, a delight, with fantastic beers, a tasty food menu, and plenty of sun right outside. With its huge patio, water bowls, and pup-loving staff, it’s no wonder customers are calling Urban Growler “a great place to bring dogs.”
