Denver Dog-Friendly Pizza Joints

Has your doggo stolen a little pizza your heart? Reward Spot with a little pupperoni at one of Denver’s best pizza joints (hopefully he’ll share). We’ve rounded up the furiendliest pizza patios for you and your four-legged companion. Have a slice day!

Kaos Pizza

With an outdoor area larger than the indoor one, this hole-in-the-wall pizza joint begs for doggos to visit their patio. Walk all the way to the back and you’ll be treated to an ivy-covered corner where your pooch will love the sniffs and shade on a hot day. South Pearl Street is a vibrant ‘hood, so make sure to check out other pupper-friendly spots like the patio at Stella’s Coffee Haus

Proto’s Pizzeria

Just down the street from the Denver Beer Co. (also dog-friendly), prepare to kick off your Highlands crawl right! Come for the fancy ‘za names and toppings (The Sour Kraut, anyone?); stick around for the canine camaraderie and pleading puppy eyes (she can has?).

Mellow Mushroom

Enjoy a true Mile High experience complete with A+ people-and-pup-watching on the 16th Street patio and some mother puppin’ unreal garlic cheese bread. Just make sure your leashed floof likes other four-legged animals, ‘cause you never know what might come walking down the 16th Street Mall (horses, ferrets, and cats included!).

Double D’s Sourdough Pizzeria

If the acoustic music nights don’t get you in the door, the house-made sourdough pies will. Make sure Fido is friendly and on-leash for the patio (it’s tight quarters, but worth it) for all the sniffs, snoots, and boops with other puppers at their Broomfield location. Head to 4 Noses Brewing Company on way your back to Denver for a quick flight of delicious brews. Be good and your fren just might take you inside the taproom.

Black Shirt Brewing

Although the main attraction (ahem, beer) isn’t pizza, the wood-fired ovens are top notch! At the northern tip of RiNo, this under-the-radar brewery offers a pup-friendly beer garden and front patio, plus plenty of furbulous events, like pottery painting and live music. Be sure to take a stroll down Walnut and show off your pup to all the people wandering the artsy streets of River North.

Old Chicago Pizza

We promise it’s worth the drive to Lakewood to get some h*cking amazing tableside water bowl service for you and your pup. Although ordering any deep-dish pizza is obvs the right choice to make here, we suggest the build-your-own Taproom Mac and Cheese because… cheese, Karen!

Ok, doggies: we need to know. Who has the very best crust in town? Woof at us the comments, and be sure to tag #sidewalkdog in all your pizza outings.
