Renters with floofers know that when it comes to finding quality, pet-friendly housing—the puggle is real. Our pals over at Steven Scott Management know this puggle, er…struggle, too and have come to the rescue with two properties that have got us waggin’ our tails. Sniff out what we, and more importantly Sidewalk Dog Alfie, had to bark about Minneapolis’ CityLine apartments.
CityLine is a brand puppin’ new apartment building in the Longfellow neighborhood of South Minneapolis. Located just steps away from the Light Rail, offering quick and easy access to both downtown and the Mall of America, CityLine is close to an area rich in nature, recreation, and small businesses. There’s so much to sniff and explore.
Dog-Friendly Deets
When it comes to the building itself, Alfie was a big fan of the dog-friendly deets. Although only two pets are allowed per unit, there are NO BREED RESTRICTIONS. Pup yeah! Don’t have time for a full w-a-l-k? There’s a furtastic fenced-in dog run for quick potty and/or zoomie breaks when you just need to stretch those paws. Some units even have balconies from which pup can survey her kingdom, or—more likely—nap in a sunbeam.
One of the best parts of the neighborhood, and we think pups would agree, is the nearby Minnehaha Off-Leash Dog Park. With more than 6 acres of wooded trails leading to a sandy beach along the Mississippi River, water-lovin’ woofers are in heaven at this park. And if you’re not filthy by the end of your visit, you’re not doin’ it right, so thank dog for CityLine’s dog spa/wash station to keep muddy paws outside where they belong.
After borkin’ up an appetite with a few laps in the river, your hungry hound’ll be begging to hit up Sidewalk Dog fave The Howe for a Woof Woof Bowl from their dog menu. And best of all, it’s less than a 10-minute walk from your door at CityLine, so honestly, there’s no excuse. Feel like kickin’ back with a couple brews instead? You only have to go about a mile north to find Arbeiter Brewing, one of the dog-friendliest breweries in the city (leashed pups are allowed inside). Even better, they’re on our Dog-Friendly Brewery Pass! Did someone say free pint?
Welcoming Woofers Home
CityLine’s clean, modern building also boasts a fitness center and a fireside lobby where you and your canine can do a chill and say henlo to all the neighbors as they come and go. Between the stylish units, warm staff, and easy access to public transit for commuters, we can’t imagine who wouldn’t wanna call this place home.
