Although we don’t take ourselves too seriously here at Sidewalk Dog, we are 100% serious when it comes to our pups’ food. The pet lovers at Champion Petfoods are, too. So much so that in true Charlie and the Chocolate Factory form, they’re inviting pet parents into their manufacturing facilities to be a part of their Transparency Council and see exactly how they make the Acana and Orijen pet foods so many of us (myself included) feed to our fur kids.
“People no longer accept at face value the assertions and claims made by pet food producers about the integrity of the products they provide,” Champion Petfoods CMO Julie S. Washington said in a press release. “Pet Lovers place a greater premium on transparency and want to know more about how foods are made and from where ingredients are sourced – and our Transparency Council provides an avenue to do just that.”
We’re diggin’ this trans-paw-rency.
