Things to Do Near Minneapolis This Weekend

1. Sunset Yoga

Town Green Park, Maple Grove
Wednesday, August 24, 6:30–7:30 p.m.

Move with Mazie is servin’ up yoga with a sunset view! Everybody and everypuppy is welcome to join in on this vinyasa flow where no experience is needed. Be sure to arrive 10 minutes early to get your paws on a waiver form. It’s free for all, but donations (suggested $10) are appreciated. No rezzies needed—just bring your mat or a beach towel.

2. 5K Beer Run

Inbound BrewCo, Minneapolis
Saturday, August 27, 11 a.m.; registration required

An untimed fun run, a free craft cider from Inbound BrewCo, a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item, a chance to win sweet door prizes, AND access to all the event festivities? Ah, pup yeah! Your furry lil’ track star can run right alongside you, or cheer you on from the dog-friendly patio or from inside the taproom.

3. Pints for Pups

The Howe, Minneapolis
Sunday, August 28, 6–9 p.m.

Looking for a howlin’ good time? Pounce on over to The Howe to grab a brew or two on Sunday evening. A buck from every brewski you enjoy will be donated to No Dog Left Behind, plus pupper can order straight from their dog-friendly menu complete with apps, entreés, and sweet treats. Drinking for a cause? Pup yeah!

Things to Do Near St. Paul This Weekend

1. Lowertown Sounds

Mears Park, St. Paul
Thursday, August 25, 6–9:30 p.m. 

Bring your floofy rockstar to Lowertown Saint Paul to kick off the weekend early. This summertime series features a great local lineup of musicians rockin’ the park. There will be Minnesota-made cider, wine, and beer, as well as a variety of food trucks. Need to run off those zoomies first? Stop by the off-leash Lowertown Dog Park right next to CHS field before you shake your paw-paws.

2. Daytrip to Dog-Friendly Stillwater

Itchin’ to stretch those legs? This town LOVES fur babies. Take an easy morning drive east and pup’ll find herself in the charming town of Stillwater. Kick off the day with a fresh brew with a river view at Boundary, then stroll your way down mainstreet for a whole pack of dog-friendly options. Rover on over to Lowell Park for some views of the river and the historic lift bridge. Finally, finish the day with a cold cider crafted fresh at the local apple orchard. Thor’s Hard Cider has a dog-friendly patio and orchard to roam. Don’t furget to pack your MSP Brewery Pass for the first pint free!
