This series is dedicated to local pups having a harder time finding their forever homes, whether it be due to age, physical impairments, or just needing a little extra attention. We could all use a friend rn, so we’re spreadin’ the woof about this special somepawdy.
Adopt Cha Cha from Seattle Humane
Name: Cha Cha
Stats: 2-year-old, 44 lb Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Rescue: Seattle Humane
Sidewalk Dog: We luff her and those ears. Tell us more!
Seattle Humane: Cha Cha is a lovable goofball who ruvs cuddling and belly rubs. She is a wonderful houseguest and people pleaser. She makes people laugh with how wiggly she gets and her ability to entertain herself with toys or by simply doing somersaults. Cha Cha loves leaning in during cuddles to give her foster human a big wet kiss.
SWD: Cha Cha, real smooth. What else is she into?
SH: Cha Cha keeps herself busy chasing her tail and paws. She also enjoys her Jolly Ball and playing fetch.
SWD: She sounds like a catch. What are her special needs?
SH: Cha Cha is reactive and will need some training. Due to her reactivity, she would do best in a rural setting or in a neighborhood where there are not many other dogs around. She should also be in an adult-only home or with a family with older children. It goes without saying she should be an only pet.
SWD: That’s nothing the right family can’t tackle. What else does she want in a home?
SH: She’s super smart and energetic, so active humans who can establish routines that keep her mentally and physically stimulated are ideal. She will also need a yard with a solid fence.
