Real Dog Moms of Chicago HOWLWEEN Romp
Saturday, Oct. 13, 5 to 7 p.m.
Join the Real Dog Moms of Chicago for their second annual HOWLWEEN Romp at West Loop Pooch Hotel (1214 W. Monroe) benefiting Chicagoland Lab Rescue. They’re gonna have playtime (good), beer (better), and parking (a true miracle). This one even has a prize for scariest costume. (It may be your dog’s only opportunity to dress as Pennywise … or a taco that fell on the ground. RIP.)

This is not a drill: for exactly two hours per year, dogs are allowed at the Botanic Garden for its Spooky Pooch Parade. Watch the beautiful puppers strut their stuff and then compete in a costume contest complete with prizes and an award ceremony. Obviously, you’ll also be taking majestic glamour shots of your dog in the rose garden.

Lakeview Halloween Pup Crawl with Miss Foozie
Saturday, Oct. 20, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Hit the streets for the Lakeview Halloween Pup Crawl hosted by Miss Foozie and presented by A Dog’s Best Friend and Northalsted! The party kicks off at The Leigh Gallery (3306 N. Halstead) and keeps going with an after-party at Lark with an Alaskan Brewing Co. Oktoberfest sampling.

Be Fido’s Friend 7th Annual Trick or Treat Halloween Walk
Saturday, Oct. 27, 12 to 3 p.m.
Trick or Treat with your dog all over Noble Square at the 7th Annual Trick or Treat Halloween Walk! Put on your finest couple’s costume and hit the town. The fun starts at G & O (459 N. Ogden). Your $10 donation benefits Be Fido’s Friend.

One Tail at a Time’s Howl-O-Ween Doggo Costume Party
Saturday, Oct. 27, 2 to 5 p.m.
Head to The Native (2417 N. Milwaukee) for a heckin’ good Howl-O-Ween Doggo Costume Party in support of One Tail at a Time! There will be raffles, cuties galore, and a costume contest with prizes.

MCP Second Annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Party
Sunday, Oct. 28, 2 to 5 p.m.
Head to The Rookery (2109 W. Chicago) for MCP’s Second Annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Party. Your $20 donation includes a free Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktail or New Holland Beer and benefits all the amazing puppers of MCP. There will also be Instagram backdrops, so you and your pup better dress spooky as heck!
