5 Ways to Party with Your Dog in November

It’s almost November, and that means it’s just about time to pawty. This is your chance to bust out the doggy cufflinks and puppare to boogie. Whether you got a fancy boi or junkyard dog, there’s a celebration fur you. Get ready to get down, gib back, and have the time of yer puppin’ lives! And for dog’s sake, get your tickets as soon as you can–the first three annual fundraisers sell out every h*ckin’ year and doggo tickets are limited. 

PAWS Chicago’s 18th Annual Fur Ball (6 p.m. Friday, November 15)
Da Price: Much bones; this one brings out the fanciest of bois. Selling quickly, but still some available from the $400 tier on up.
Da Place: The Drake
Dress Code: Black tie
Pawfect for: Puptown girls and high society frens. Puppers dress to impress as they bid on auction items, dance, dine out of *crystal* at their special dog buffet, and round out their night with pawdicures, massages, and pet-friendly spritzes. Basically, this event is probably better than three of the nicest weddings you’ve ever been to combined. 

One Tail at a Time’s 11th Annual Houndstooth Ball (7 to 11 p.m. Friday, November 22)
Da Price: $125 for humans, $65 for woofers; optional VIP upgrade for $175
Da Place: Morgan MFG
Dress Code: Cocktail
Pawfect for: Cool kids who used to have it ruff but are now livin’ the good life. You buddies will enjoy an open bar, vegan noms (including a dang Miyoko’s chz buffet!), extra cool auction prizes, a photo booth, a *real emotional* presentation, a DJ and dancing, and the opportunity to attend a special Very Important Puppy hour that comes with its own special swag bag full of sweet prizes and TREATOS.

Alive’s 4th Annual Lucky for Life Gala (8 p.m. Monday, November 11)
Da Price: $100 for humans, $25 for doggos
Da Place: Firehouse Chicago
Dress Code: Cocktail
Pawfect for: Rescue lovers in support of doggers Stayin’ Alive. Bust out a sparkly dress and heck, unbutton that doggy tux a bit, too. Here, you and pal will enjoy an open bar, vegan and vegetarian fare, dancing, auctions, a photo booth, an award ceremony, and a Stayin’ Alive gift bag full of prezzies.

S’Mores and Bonfire Fall Fun (6 p.m. Wednesday, November 6)
Da Price: V affordable
Da Place: Park + Field
Dress Code: Matching flannels
Pawfect for: Chill buddies who wanna show support for the cause without having to put on heels. Leashed fluffers are welcome to indulge in some camp vibes around the fire on the enormous patio and $3 from each specialty drink sale goes to the good boys and girls at PAWS.

Rounds and Hounds (11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, November 10)
Da Price: O h*ck dis cheap
Da Place: Midwest Coast Brewing
Dress Code: Anything goes!
Pawfect for: Beer-lovin’ regular joes who may or may not be looking to add to their pack. Freshly opened Midwest Coast and the volunteers of One Tail at a Time joined forces to create Old Girl, a beer named for the owner’s senior rescue pup. Proceeds’ll go to the dogs, of course, and adoptables will be workin’ the room looking for their furever.
