3 Things to Do With Your Dog This Weekend in Denver

It’s a heat wave, folks! Grab that puppo a nice frosty Kong, and bring her along on the incredi-bull weekend adventures we’ve already planned out for you. Cheers, pups!

Basic Manners Doggie Training Class (9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 20) What’s better than building a rewarding relationship with your pup? Doing it fur free! Bring your leashed pupper to Commons Park for a stress-free basic manners class. Your furry friend will thank you for the tailored lessons and the newfound trust and happiness between you. All ages, breeds, and levels of training are welcome, and remember, pups: you don’t gotta be bad to be a baddie.

Bruz Beers Third Birthday Bash (9 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, July 20) Hold the bone–Bruz Beers turns three this weekend! Not only will there be special beer releases every few hours (psst… this brewery is on our Denver Dog-Friendly Brewery Pass…that means free beer fur you!) and food trucks galore, but there’ll also be live music and free giveaways. The grand ol’ b-day starts with yoga at 9 a.m. and doesn’t stop ‘til the last food trucks leave at 9 p.m.

Yappy Hour at Improper City (1 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 21) Drinkies and snackies?! Grab that leash and zoomie on over to Improper City. The happy hour deals and dog hangs will be so hot (literally, so take some shady breaks in the huge backyard) that you won’t wanna leave. And Ivan’s All-Natural Doggie Delights will supply each pupper with a tasty treat. Hope your bud has been practicing his cornhole.
