Is the pond water safe for dogs? I stopped going a couple years ago. Dogs were getting bladder infections & Giardia. Any thoughts?

This is our favorite dog park year round! Well maintained, lots of walking trails and the water is fenced off so pet parents can keep us dogs dry!

I have loved Cleary, and my dogs start whimpering with glee a mile away. Efforts are being made to redirect standing water. However, gaps in the fences are dangerous. My small dog got under and out onto the county road in a second. When I went back, the fix was a rock in the gap. Also, a gap near a gate allows another dog to wiggle through and disappear. Though I have addressed a worker at park, nothing has been done. The park is on the prairie, so it is very hot in summer.

Cleary Lake Dog Park is a very large, well maintained dog park with nice trails. There is an open area for playing fetch, a large fenced-in pond within the off-leash area for dogs who want to take a swim. There are picnic benches near the entrance, one overlooking the pond and one at the top of a small clearing ("play fetch" area).
