People the ''pond'' is run off from the streets and sewer! I have been going there for 10+ years and have seen dogs getting skin infections, becoming sick and needing vet care. Please don't think of the run off area as a pond, go to a clean lake instead.

You can almost always count on other dogs to be present at this park. Potable water and lights have recently been installed making hot summers and post-sunset walks/runs more enjoyable. Last summer, the grass/weeds got very long until the city finally got out to mow.

Nice large park. The entrance area is often crowded with tons of dogs and people staying near this main area. If you prefer to go off, a little trail will lead you around the big park. It's one big grassy/field area so it feels very connected which can be good if you want to see your dog at all times, or disappointing if you want to be able to section off. There are 2 ponds but one is fenced off. The other is in a more secluded corner.

this place is ideal and a great park for its size..lots of room to run and not loose sight of your dog!

We love this park. Acres of grassland and woods, a dog can run until they are out of sight, but it is fenced so nobody goes missing. There is a pond to splash in and wood chip covered trails crisscross the park for those who want to move. There are a few lawn chairs and a picnic table for sitting and socializing. You will need to bring your own water, others have left bowls to use. There are places to donate poo bags and dumpsters are provided. The parking lot is large. The city maintains the park well, both in snow and sunshine. This spring they brought in truckloads of wood chips to combat the standing water and mud.

For us, not just location make this park our regular spot. The walking trails, large pond, and big field to romp and play on do, too. It also has a fenced off small dog area, especially for those that are not socialized properly (hint). It is just as enjoyable in the winter. The people are very friendly - especially the regulars. Definitely one of our favorites!
